Project Atlas Volunteer Disclaimer & Terms

1. Application Does Not Constitute Acceptance

Submitting a volunteer application does not guarantee selection, appointment, or participation as a Project Atlas Volunteer.

All applications are subject to review by the Project Atlas team. Applicants may be contacted for interviews, discussions, background verification, or additional evaluation before any volunteer role is offered.

Project Atlas reserves the sole right to approve, reject, suspend, or terminate any volunteer application or volunteer participation at its discretion and without obligation to provide a reason.

2. Volunteer Status Becomes Effective Only After Formal Approval

An individual shall be considered a Project Atlas Volunteer only after receiving explicit confirmation from the Project Atlas team through an official communication channel.

Until such approval is provided, applicants may not represent themselves as a Project Atlas Volunteer, Ambassador, Representative, Coordinator, Advisor, or any other affiliated role.

3. No Authority to Represent Project Atlas

Volunteers and applicants are not authorized to speak, act, negotiate, commit, endorse, or make representations on behalf of Project Atlas unless specifically authorized in writing by the Project Atlas leadership team.

Without prior written approval, no individual may:

• Represent Project Atlas in public or private forums.
• Create official communications on behalf of Project Atlas.
• Conduct media interviews or public statements.
• Approach organizations, institutions, government bodies, or partners claiming representation of Project Atlas.
• Create social media accounts, websites, groups, communities, campaigns, events, or promotional materials using the Project Atlas name, brand, logo, or identity.
• Publish content that appears to be an official Project Atlas position or announcement.

Any unauthorized representation may result in immediate removal from the volunteer program and any other action deemed necessary by Project Atlas.

4. Volunteer Participation Is Unpaid

Project Atlas Volunteer roles are entirely voluntary in nature.

Volunteers acknowledge and agree that:

• No salary, stipend, compensation, commission, consulting fee, reimbursement, employment benefit, equity, profit-sharing, or other monetary payment will be provided for volunteer activities unless explicitly agreed in writing by Project Atlas.
• Participation is undertaken on a voluntary basis to support the mission of Project Atlas.
• Volunteer participation does not create an employment, contractor, partnership, agency, or joint venture relationship with Project Atlas.

5. Use of Project Atlas Brand and Intellectual Property

The Project Atlas name, logo, trademarks, content, materials, research, documentation, and brand assets remain the exclusive property of Project Atlas.

Volunteers may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, or commercially use Project Atlas intellectual property without prior written permission.

6. Code of Conduct

Volunteers are expected to act professionally, ethically, and respectfully while engaging with communities, institutions, industry professionals, and the public.

Project Atlas reserves the right to suspend or terminate volunteer participation if conduct is deemed inconsistent with the values, mission, reputation, or interests of Project Atlas.

7. Modification of Volunteer Program

Project Atlas may modify, suspend, or discontinue the volunteer program, volunteer roles, responsibilities, benefits, or participation requirements at any time without prior notice.
